(Bangkok Post file photo)The cabinet on Tuesday approved a proposal to develop a 61-rai plot into a "Ban Mankhong" housing project for low-income people in Bang Sue area, said Finance Minister Apisak Tantivorawong. Mr Apisak said that Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCG) had donated the 240-million-baht plot for the project. The Government Lottery Office and the Crown Property Bureau would also be asked to help finance the project, expected to be completed in 18 months.
